Magistrate
Joseph Wenger received his appointment as a magistrate for the Tenth District Court of Appeals in 2022. He previously served as a staff attorney at the court beginning in 2012, during which time he worked for the Honorable Peggy L. Bryant and the Honorable Julia L. Dorrian. Joseph graduated from the Ohio State University twice, receiving his BA in History in 2007 and JD from the Moritz College of Law in 2012.
Joseph is President-Elect of the Ohio State Bar Foundation, Chair of the Columbus Bar Association’s LGBTQIA+ Professional Development Network, and a member of the Ohio State Bar Association’s Council of Delegates. He previously served as Board Chair of the Equality Ohio Education Fund.
